Anne Curtis Smith, a Filipino Australian model-actress television host entrepreneur recording artist is the recipient of numerous honors during her career. These include two FAMAS Awards one Luna Award and two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards. She has been nominated as well for 8 PMPC Star Awards, two Gawad Urian Awards as in addition to the Gawad Urian Awards. Curtis is the daughter Carmencita Ojales, a Filipina originally from Bolinao Pangasinan, and James Ernest Curtis Smith who is an Australian attorney. Her birthplace was Yarrawonga in Victoria, Australia. Her father had been married to Ojales in 1982. Jasmine her younger sister also performs as an actress. On their father's side they had a half-sister called Clare who died in 2007 of a heart disease when she was four months old.
